For years, we have served Clients as partners or senior executives of the leading consultancies, investment banks, and commercial banks with strong reputation for professionalism and service quality. We have also the experience of being served by those and other consultancies, investment or commercial banks as Clients.
Founding Metropolitan Capital Solutions, we wanted to create a firm that would serve Clients the way we would have liked to be served. Picking the best of what we have learnt as consultants and bankers and eliminating what annoyed us as their clients.
We have grown skeptical towards long and wordy value statements. We did not want to produce another one here. We would rather state a few simple things we really believe matter.
We will be honest and frank with you as our Client. We know it sounds obvious. But you know as well as we do that this is only superficially obvious. We know that this may be at times difficult and unpleasant. It may also at times mean less work for us, at least in the short term.
We will do things that add value and avoid spending the time you pay for on things that do not. It may mean that there will be a short document rather than a hundred page Powerpoint presentation, if such presentation is not critical for what you as Client need.
We are open to pay arrangements that will reward us for your success and we consider both cash and equity-based structures. In our previous professional lives, we have had hundreds of discussions with our Clients on the merits and weaknesses of various "success fee" arrangements. At the same time, we believe that sharing success puts us in the same boat as you are and this has a value in itself, even if it will be difficult in real life to define exactly how much of the success (or failure) was due to your work, our support or simply chance.
