Artur Kluz
Artur Kluz has more than a decade of experience in international investments, corporate governance, private equity and M&A transactions. While advising projects in the US, Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia, he oversaw the legal aspects of growth capital and equity investments, as well as the structuring and negotiating of capital raising and fund formation. He developed a solid relationships with sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors and family offices, and assisted companies and social and digital media start-ups on seed and growth capital raising.
He is a Partner of Metropolitan Capital Solutions, Member of the Advisory Board of LeadPlace and DeedCast Inc., real estate technology companies based in New York, and a qualified attorney and member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw.
As Executive Director for Barcino Capitas Limited, he was in charge of structuring, negotiating and executing of financing and investments in growth sectors, and worked for American Stock Exchange - New York Stock Exchange AMEX, where he analyzed equity markets and interpreted SEC and FINRA regulations and policies for AMEX's foreign members.
Previously, he spent over five years as a legal counsel at Kulczyk Holding S.A., a leading investment company in CEE, where he negotiated and executed equity investment, M&A and project finance transactions and monitored holding's portfolio companies.
Artur has been a corporate attorney with Holland & Knight LLP in New York and Linklaters. As a foreign lawyer he has also advised on a media litigation case before the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.
Artur is a graduate of IESE Business School of the University of Navarra (PMD) in Spain and received a law degree from Fordham University School of Law (LL.M.) in New York, where he was an editor of the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Finance Law, as well as of the University of Buckingham School of Law (Master of Laws) in England and Warsaw University School of Law (J.D.) in Poland. He completed the Executive M&A program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
Artur is a member of the Foreign Policy Association in New York and is actively involved in various foreign affairs and pro bono initiatives, acts as an advisor to Michael Skakun, an American writer and recently was a speaker at Harvard University during Harvard Business School's Annual Executive Development Program.
